Leon Notkevich
Founder, Managing Director & Principal Engineer/Project Manager

Leon Notkevich is the Founder and Deputy Chairman of ÆGE Energy, and a board member on our subsidiaries Aabø PowerConsulting, RCG Nordic, Bergen PowerEngineering, Contingency Storage Solutions, and Det Norske Kraftselskap. Leon holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering and Power Markets.

 

Leon has a solid track record as a senior manager, project manager and lead technical engineer with experience from project execution and contract management of renewables and electrical infrastructure projects from early development through to commissioning and hand over to operations. Leon has held several senior roles in the power sector, among other in Statkraft Offshore Wind, where he built and managed the Electrical Systems Infrastructure department and developed the necessary capabilities to enable Statkraft to become an operator in large offshore wind projects.

 

Leon has an extensive network within the renewables industry through his involvement in industry task forces and forums such as CIGRÉ, IEC, the Offshore Wind Program Board, Offshore Wind Accelerator, National Grid’s Integrated Offshore Transmission Project and the Crown Estate’s Offshore wind cost reduction pathways study.

Ole Omland
HR Manager

Ole omland has years of experience from the business world in sales, management and HR. He has previously worked as an HR consultant at Odfjell Drilling, where he held positions as departement and general manager for consulting. He has been employed by Garuda as a business consultant and partner, held a mangement position in Kelly Services , and worked internationally with sales and marketing of technical solutions for the telecommunications company Nera TMN.

In recent years, he has worked with a special focus on consulting and practical HR work for companies and the public sector. The work areas have been within adjustment and change, recruitment, training and support for managers, Talent Management and presence work. He has his education from BI with additional education in organizationg and management.

Yngve Aabø
Founder & Executive Head of the Board

One of the most experienced professionals in the Norwegian power sector. Yngve has been head of engineering and head of grid development at BKK and has worked for or with most of the important players in the Norwegian power market, such as Statoil, Statkraft, Statnett, Lyse, Hafslund, and many more. He has a huge industry network and is one of the leading experts on the Norwegian power system. He is a specialist on Protection & Control, Grid Planning, Power System Calculations, Business Development and many more energy related topics. He is (co-)founder of multiple successful companies such as Troll Power, Promaps AS, Troll Wind Power, Det Norske Kraftselskap and Aabø Powerconsulting.

Tor Inge Vevatne
Founder & Director Financial Advisory Services

Tor Inge holds an MSc. in Economics and Business Administration. He specialises in development of complex Cost Assessment Tools for Optimal Layout Valuation in Offshore Windfarms (Dogger Bank Cost of Energy Model, Triton Knoll etc.), Financial Analysis for Onshore/Offshore Wind Acquisitions, Cost Model Auditing for the Offshore Wind Industry, and Acquisition Strategy.

Selected reference projects: Dogger Bank, Triton Knoll, various due diligence projects (on/offshore wind and interconnectors).

Ole-Kristian Jacobsen
CEO

Ole Kristian Jacobsen is the Cheif Executive Officeer (CEO) of Æge Energy. He has more than ten years of experience as Project Manager in complex electrical infrastructure projects in the Norwegian Energy sector with focus on cables and other electrical infrastructure.

Ole Kristian previously worked as CEO for OneCo Vest where he led strategic process within IT, organisation, business development and Mangement. He has also led key digitalisation projects in Eviny. Ole Kristian holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Østfold School of Engineering and an MBA from Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).

Fredrik Gjesdahl
Power System Engineer

Fredrik Gjesdahl is an electrical power engineer at Aege Energy. He holds a BSc. in electrical power engineering from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and an MSc. in energy with specialization in electrical power systems from the University of Bergen.

 

Mr. Gjesdahl specialises in insulation systems of high voltage components and the quality of such systems as well as photovoltaic systems and has experience with structural design of high voltage grids, condition monitoring of high voltage equipment and high voltage insulation testing.

Runar Onstad Lahti
Power System Engineer

Runar holds a MSc. in electrical power engineering from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He has experience as an specialist in electrical power systems and protection relays, and has worked with offshore and onshore power systems.

He is an expert within load flow, short circuit, motor starting, harmonics, arc flash, power system protection and transient stability studies and analyses. He is also experienced with software such as EDSA/DesignBase, ETAP, NetBas, ProDocX, TDPlan, and relay software such as ABB PCM600 and Siemens DIGSI.

Martin Oen
Power System Engineer

Martin holds a BSc. in electrical power engineering from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and a certificate within the electrician profession. He has practical experience with low voltage and high voltage installations from offshore and onshore.

Martin has worked with the design of electrical systems, earthing systems in distribution networks, energy and power calculations in distribution networks and UPS installations.

Veslemøy Fosse
Energy Engineer

Veslemøy holds a MSc. degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from the University of Freiburg, Germany. Her bachelor's degree in Energy Technology is from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Bergen, Norway. She specialises in local power systems and renewable energy production, focusing on solar power, wind power and battery technology. Additionally, she works with power system analysis, error statistics and the N-1 concept concerning grid planning.

Robert Pedersen
Power System Engineer

Robert has a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from NTNU. He has 8 years’ experience from large grid development projects, from feasibility studies, to license applications and engineering.

Robert is specialized in static and dynamic analyses for all types of network systems, ranging from the central and regional grid to smaller island grids onshore and offshore.

Sindre Aarhuus Amundsen
Power System Engineer

Sindre Aarhuus Amundsen has  experience in consulting and engineering of electrical power installations. Experience with the design of data centre’s power supply, regional networks and stations, distribution networks, technical solutions for emergency power supply of critical infrastructure, power system analysis and electrification of the transport sector.

 

Experience with design of HV compartments inside wind turbines to meet and exceed legislative requirements in regard to O&M personnel safety while keeping operational readiness as high as possible.

Ida Ulvestad Brudvik
Power System Engineer

Ida holds a BSc. in electrical power engineering from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. She has several years of experience as a project manager and has gained high competence within the power distribution grid including developement, upgrading and maintenance of the power grid. She also has experience from working with power generation, data storage centres and infrastructure.
