ÆGE Energy is a consulting company founded in 2016, consisting of highly experienced personnel with background from leading companies within the renewable and electrical infrastructure sectors.

Our employees have extensive experience from development and execution of renewable energy projects and are currently involved in several major offshore wind projects and interconnectors. Reference projects include Dogger Bank, Ishikari, Triton Knoll, Dudgeon, Sheringham Shoal, Krafla, Øyfjellet, Kjøllefjord and NorthConnect as well as numerous onshore wind and hydro power developments.

ÆGE Energy specialises in project development, execution and grid integration of offshore wind, onshore wind, interconnectors and electrification projects (hereunder datacentres, power from shore and microgrids).

In particular, the team members have long experience with managing grid integration of renewables in general and offshore wind farms and interconnectors specifically, from a wide variety of roles as consultants, TSOs and developers. The team brings excellent knowledge of network codes, electricity markets and grid compliance processes in the UK, Scandinavia, and across EU.

We combine a strong academic background with hands-on project experience and mind-set for value engineering and cost-effective solutions. We have participated in cost reduction measures through industry-led initiatives such as Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA), Offshore Wind Programme Board (OWPB), Renewable UK grid groups, and bring first-hand understanding of the value drivers and necessities for cost reduction in the industry.

The company operates in Scandinavia and Northern Europe, is located in Oslo and Bergen and currently employs 8 people on various assignments as well as a larger network of associated highly qualified consultants and specialists within their respective fields. ÆGE Energy Solutions effectively utilises our extensive network to offer tailored and highly competent teams adapted to meet the customer's needs and the complexity of the challenge. In addition to internal resources, the company has 15-20 affiliated consultants in its closest network, which contribute on assignments when needed.

Our personnel have excellent understanding of the value chain across various technologies and markets, and have a broad network within the supply chain, regulators, grid owners, power utilities and research institutions/academia in Norway / Scandinavia, Germany and the UK.
